Linux System Administrator

FXDD seeks a Trading System Administrator to join the team responsible for supporting and maintaining the FXDD Trading Systems. This is a hands on role and will require supporting a 24x5 High Availability Production Environment. Responsibilities will include day to day management of the FXDD System, system monitoring, security, network and server infrastructure, system tuning, troubleshooting and deployment of system updates.

Requirements
+ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering
+ Networking experience with routing, firewalls and load balancing.
+ Common Linux server administration skills:
shell/perl scripting TCP/IP services configuration (apache, dns, sendmail, etc)
+ Sound decision making and critical thinking skills
+ Organization and prioritization skills
+ Experience in supporting a 24x7 production environment
+ Team/results oriented, flexible, proactive, self-starter able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
